Motion Picture Production Accounting Clerk Micro-credential

Learn the accounting fundamentals of film production and prepare for a high-demand, rewarding career in the industry. Students will be introduced to the roles and responsibilities of the accounting office during pre-production, production and post-production of a project and gain insight into the accounting office structure within the context of the production and crew. Course material includes an orientation to the accounting system, accounting fundamentals, petty cash, purchase orders, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, taxation and the application of specific film production hiring requirements, deal memos and production reports.
