Mandate Letter

Each year, the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills sends a Mandate Letter to all public post-secondary institutions. These letters clarify annual accountabilities and roles and responsibilities, including high-level strategic priorities, public policy issues and key performance expectations.

The Mandate Letter is signed by all members of the North Island College Board of Governors, acknowledging the Board’s statutory obligations to act in the best interests of North Island College and affirms compliance to Government’s three key commitments: to make life more affordable, to deliver the services people count on and to build a strong, sustainable, innovative economy that works for everyone.
