Master of Arts, Fine Art, Chelsea College of Art & Design, The London Institute (London, UK, 1997)
Art is my passion. I enjoy encouraging students to discover their full potential in the visual arts. I teach fundamental art skills relevant to contemporary artists and cultural industries. My projects in drawing and painting allow students to discover traditional and unconventional techniques and materials. I am interested in a wide range of art practices. I am an approachable instructor that supports and nurtures individual creativity and expression.
I am a practicing artist who creates drawings, paintings and installations for galleries and community art projects. My work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Vancouver, London UK and Germany.
I have been teaching drawing and painting at NIC since 2003. I have also taught art in Wales and in London, UK.
