Early Childhood Care

Master of Education in Early Childhood Education (University of British Columbia, 2022).

Subjects: Early Childhood Education

Vicky's passion in her role as instructor and advocate is to emphasize the importance of pedagogy in the field of early childhood education. ECEs are not simply providing care and supervision of children. ECEs create early learning curriculum with and for children that supports collaborative and critical thinking toward a socially and culturally inclusive world. Children have unique ways of seeing and interacting with people and the wider environment, and early childhood educators play an important role in recognizing and celebrating children's contributions to our communities.

When Vicky isn’t teaching, she enjoys singing, spending time with her husband and two teenagers and learning about different world cultures through food, music and travel.
