Masters of Arts in Learning and Technology (Royal Roads University, 2014)
After serving for many years in the Canadian Armed Forced, I undertook a new challenge in embarking upon an electrical apprenticeship. This is where I began to develop my passion for learning, both in technical knowledge and in education. I am now a proud, professional, experienced, and passionate adult educational facilitator and designer. I am dedicated in support of adult education, learner diversity, and learner success. I currently have over 25 years of educational and training experience, including more than 11 years of facilitation with both: North Island College (NIC), and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), in multiple capacities. Additionally, and mostly concurrently, I have nearly 25 years of experience within the technology and construction industries. I hold a Red Seal Certificate as an Electrician and a Master Electrician Certificate in Alberta, and educational credentials through Royal Roads University and Vancouver Community College. I believe in life long learning, and I fully support our learners who wish to enrich their lives through further education.
