Late Night Against Procrastination returns!

Exams, papers and presentations can pile up quickly. But don’t worry, NIC’s Late Night Against Procrastination is back to help.

Join NIC’s Library and Learning Commons at our Comox Valley campus on Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 4 pm until midnight to get all the help you need to make it through the semester.

Whether you need help with coursework, exam preparation or simply want to enjoy a few snacks and relieve some stress, you can find all the support you need in one place, for one night only.

This all-night event offers a wide range of supports and activities.

- Writing and research support

- Counselling, including career planning, conflict resolution, learning strategies/study skills and coping with personal challenges

- Writing workshops on starting, preparing and finishing papers

- Therapy dogs and a variety of wellness activities

- Group study sessions

- Pizza and snacks

- Free printing

Students can also take advantage of a new ‘Food for Fines’ campaign. For every non-perishable food item you bring in, library staff will excuse $1 from your overdue fines and the donated items will go to the Comox Valley Food Bank.

“Last year’s LNAP event was a huge success and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back,” said Mary Anne Guenther, coordinator of Library Services. “Stress and procrastination don’t stand a chance.”

Be sure to register early. Students from all campuses are welcome to attend this Comox Valley Library and Learning Commons event and participants can come or go as they please.
