Amber Morrison Fox (she/her) is an artist and educator based in Nanaimo, BC (Snuneymuxw Territory) and will be kicking off the fall lineup of speakers, which returns to an in-person format at NIC's Comox Valley campus.
Her research interests include video games as a fine art medium, poetics and literary theory, regional art and disability studies. She creates watercolour paintings and various digital projects, including publications and video essays. Fox holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art and Creative Writing from Vancouver Island University and an MFA in Art from the University of Lethbridge. She is also working toward her master's of education in educational leadership degree. In 2018, Fox established Sad Girl Review, an ongoing art and literary magazine.
