Earlier this afternoon (Weds, Oct 5), there was a brief RCMP hold and secure notice issued to NIC’s Comox Valley campus that was quickly resolved.
The incident happened in the bus loop, outside, and the college community was unharmed.
Hold and secures are used by RCMP in response to security threats or criminal activity outside of school or campus buildings.
