The evening is an opportunity for students to meet professionals and hiring managers who work in the sector and who are able to share insights into their own career paths.
The event also allows students to identify possible employment opportunities to advance their careers.
“It’s not only a chance to bring everyone together to connect and look for partnerships in 2019, but also to help out industry partners who we know are facing some serious labour market shortages,” said Anita Budisa-Bonneau, coordinator of work-integrated education at NIC. “It should be a great event.”
The schedule includes a networking session from 4:30 to 6 pm, followed by a presentation on strategies to combat labour market shortages with Arlene Keis, CEO of go2HR, from 6 to 7 pm.
