The Indigenous Education Council (IEC) provides guidance to ensure the delivery of education and support services relevant to the needs of Indigenous people and to ensure that the college works with Indigenous people in culturally appropriate ways.
The goal of the Indigenous Education Council is to create a sense of belonging for all our Indigenous students, faculty and staff, recognizing the significant culture and traditions of the 35 First Nations in the Nuu-chah-nulth, Kwakwak’wakw and Coast Salish traditional territories which NIC serves.
