It examines how creativity has offered Dean a life-giving and secure place to grow; how mentors well beyond his artistic practice formed and influenced his journey; how his practice as a painter opened him to other artists, writers, and poets and how his art has been influenced and shaped by a fascination with the human spirit, our struggle, and sense of place.
