To protect grizzly bears, we have to protect their habitat. Wayne will talk about the scientific research and campaigns spearheaded by the Valhalla Wilderness Society (VWS), First Nations and others that have led to the protection of over 800,000 hectares of new parks and conservancies in BC in the coastal and interior rainforests; and why it is so important to protect large landscapes as core areas for grizzly bears, spirit bears, mountain caribou and other species.
