NIC Foundation
If you are a new, continuing or graduating NIC student, you can apply for hundreds of awards with one application. Visit the NIC Foundation.
If you self-identify as an Indigenous student and are entering the Access to Practical Nursing Pathway program at NIC after June 1, 2024 or the Practical Nursing program in September 2024, you're eligible for a Priority Health Program Indigenous Student Recruitment Bursary. The value of the bursary is $7,500 for the Access to Practical Nursing program after June 1, 2024 and $5,000 per year ($10,000 in total) for the Practical Nursing program.

Transfer Scholarships
Transfer Scholarships are for students who have completed one or two years of study and will be transferring the credits to a second institution to complete your program.
BC Aboriginal Student Award or Aboriginal Teacher Education Award
The BC Aboriginal Student Award or Aboriginal Teacher Education Award is for BC students of Aboriginal ancestry who plan to study in a program with a minimum length of nine weeks and receive a post-secondary credential.
International Scholarships
International Scholarships are for students from BC who have been accepted into an eligible study or work abroad program and have demonstrated extracurricular community involvement and strong academic standing.
Apprenticeship Funding
While you are enroled in trades training, there are many financial supports to help pay for tuition, tools, equipment and living expenses. Learn how to apply for apprenticeship training funds up to 4 weeks before you begin work and browse the resources below.

Indigenous Funding
If you an Indigenous student, you may be eligible for specific scholarships, bursaries or funding through your Nation’s office. Indigenous Education Navigators and Financial Aid Advisors can help you explore all funding options, which may cover tuition, books, supplies and living allowances.
Sponsorship Funding
If you are a sponsored by an outside agency, NIC advisors are assist you through that process, including completing a Funding Agency Sponsorship Agreement form. Please contact an NIC advisor to learn more.
