Karissa-June holds a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has been an Access Navigator at North Island College since 2024 supporting students in navigating barriers, completing assessments and connecting with the resources they need to succeed. With over 10 years of experience as a Social Worker, Karissa-June brings a compassionate, student-centred approach to supporting learners and helping them achieve their educational goals. Outside of work, Karissa-June enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs and making memories with her family.
