NIC’s recent field school to Maui was the subject of a recent piece in the Indigenous newspaper, Ha-Shilth-Sa.
The article, “NIC students witness Indigenous cultural immersion during Hawaii trip,” written by Sam Laskaris, was published online on April 4. It features an interview with Indigenous education instructor Ian Caplette.
The trip also received recent coverage from Black Press on the Alberni Valley News and Comox Valley Record websites.
