CAMPBELL RIVER - North Island College (NIC) students will have better access to state-of-the- art facilities and programs to help them become career-ready following the opening of the expanded Campbell River campus.

Every February, more than 1,000 high school students from across the North Island discover and explore unique opportunities at our annual NIC Open House events. You’ll discover our programs through interactive classroom experiences, lab and studio tours, meet faculty and ask questions.

Monday night’s power outage has affected some of NIC’s IT infrastructure. NIC is open and all classes, including ITV, are running as scheduled. Email is now working, but some services are currently unavailable. NIC is working to restore service as soon as possible. Full details on the service...

NIC’s Artist Talk Series returns Thursday, Feb. 6 with Connie Michele Morey, an artist whose work tackles the relationships between displacement, resource management and mismanagement, labour and housing.
