NIC will launch a new Aquaculture Technician certificate this January to provide students with technical skills to work with a variety of species in BC’s growing aquaculture industry.

NIC’s ElderColleges are marking National Seniors Day, Oct 1, by encouraging seniors to connect with lifelong learning. This day is recognized as a way to celebrate and acknowledge seniors in the community.

NIC and the Multicultural and Immigrant Services Association of North Vancouver Island (MISA) are joining forces to support the needs of some of the region’s newest residents.

The Mount Waddington Community Food Initiative and North Island College held an ‘On the Table’ potluck to connect and talk about local foods. 

All students are welcome to play soccer and volleyball on a free, drop-in basis. Drop-in nights are held on Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm, on the following schedule:
