NIC Culinary Arts alumna Tina Tang has been named one of Canada's next star chefs by the Globe and Mail.

Nearly 80 NIC students in Campbell River received a record $95,000 in NIC scholarships and bursaries this year, thanks to generous NIC donors.

NIC plumbing apprentice Cassandra Kuryliak found her calling in the plumbing trade. She is encouraging more women to take up the trade, just in time for Apprenticeship Recognition Week, Nov. 4 to 10 in BC.
