NIC’s Education Council (EdCo) is responsible for ensuring educational quality at the college and is mandated under the College and Institute Act.

EdCo serves two main functions:

  1. Review and approve curriculum and policies that relate to academic standing, standards and evaluation of student performance.
  2. Advise the Board of Governors on educational policy (e.g. implementing or cancelling courses and programs, admissions policies or the criteria for awarding credentials).
