To apply, create an account with a username and password you’ll remember. Fill in the required fields (marked with an asterisk *) and provide as much information as possible to help the hiring committee evaluate your qualifications.
To save your progress, click "SAVE." To make updates, log in and edit your application. You can print it by selecting "View Application" under "Manage Applications."
When you're ready to submit, follow the prompts to upload your resume and complete the form. Once submitted, you'll receive a confirmation number.
Yes, you must submit an application for each position. Find the job, go to "Job Details", and click "Apply for this Posting". Be sure to update your application as needed.
The hiring process involves submitting your online application, which is reviewed by a hiring committee. If your application moves forward, you may be contacted for an interview. Successful candidates may undergo reference checks and position-specific testing before a final decision is made.
The status of a posting will update on the Application Status page once it’s filled or cancelled. For more details, contact careers@nic.bc.ca.
To update your application, log in with your username and password. Avoid using your browser's "Back", "Forward", or "Refresh" buttons.
If you have document upload issues, try clearing your browser cache and reattaching the file. PDFs are recommended, and documents over 5 MB or with passwords/signatures may not upload correctly scan and upload if needed. If issues persist, contact careers@nic.bc.ca with your posting number, error message, and username.
Create a username and password to track applications. If you forget them, use "I forgot my username/password" or contact careers@nic.bc.ca. After a reset, ensure correct capitalization and manually enter your new password if autofill is enabled.
If you get a system error, it may be due to too many browser windows, unsaved changes, large or unsupported files, or special characters in filenames. Try closing extra windows, saving your work, reducing file size, or renaming the file. If issues persist, contact careers@nic.bc.ca with your posting number, error message, and username.
