Getting here

Located in the heart of Port Hardy, the Thunderbird Mall is easily accessible for students in Port Hardy and those commuting from nearby communities. The campus is accessible by walking, driving or by the Mount Waddington Transit system. Learn more about Port Hardy.

Parking on campus

NIC has free, designated parking for students and employees. Please obey parking signage. 

Accessible parking is available for drivers displaying a valid accessible parking permit.

Wireless network access

Wi-Fi access is available for students and employees across campus through two networks.

NIC-WIFI is our official public Wi-fi network. Log in by entering your myNIC username and password.  

Eduroam is a secure network available to students, researchers and staff. Once Eduroam is set up, you will automatically log in anytime you are at NIC or any other participating institution.
